Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the Clean Player mobile app and the website at cleanplayer.cc (together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Clean Player is a local-first music and video player for Android. Features may include library scanning, playback, playlists, equalizer, video controls, and optional in-app purchases. Features may change over time.
2. Eligibility & lawful use
- You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live.
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with media you have the right to play.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the Service, abuse infrastructure, or redistribute the app unlawfully.
3. Local media
You are responsible for the files on your device. Clean Player does not provide streaming content and does not host your media library.
4. Accounts & purchases
The app does not require creating an account with us. Google Play account and billing terms apply to download and optional purchases (for example lifetime ad-free). Unlock status may be restored through Play Billing.
5. Permissions & your device
You must grant media and related permissions the features need. You are responsible for device security, OS updates, and battery / notification settings that affect background playback.
6. Intellectual property
The app name, branding, website, and software are protected by applicable IP laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app as provided through official store channels.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION, OR THAT EVERY MEDIA FILE WILL PLAY ON EVERY DEVICE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) EUR 20.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example certain consumer rights).

10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
